Robert S Schmidt, MD

An interest in serving others inspired Dr. Schmidt to enter the medical field. Following residency in Head and Neck Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Schmidt completed a prestigious fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Schmidt's goal is to improve his patients' quality of life, both functionally and aesthetically. He enjoys getting to know his patients personally and helping them feel better about themselves. His practice includes all aspects of facial plastic surgery including injectables, surgery of the aging face, functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty, and facial reconstruction for trauma, scars, and skin cancers. He has written articles and book chapters on different aspects of facial plastic surgery including complications of rhinoplasty surgery, management of the bulbous nose, as well as facial trauma.

Dr. Schmidt hails from a one stoplight town in northern Delaware. He met his wife, Dr. Melanie Bolling, while singing in the choir at Duke University. They welcomed their first son in December 2010. The family is happy to be living in Aggieland, where Melanie attended veterinary school. When not at work, Dr. Schmidt enjoys running, working on his golf game, and watching Duke Basketball.

Dr. Schmidt is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Melissa Tumlinson

Melissa is a Victoria native who now resides in Bryan, Texas. Followed by graduating from Bryan High School in 2007, she attended Blinn College, where she found her inspiration with skincare in the esthetic industry. Melissa graduated with her Esthetic license from Aveda Institute Houston along with her knowledge of practicing professional skincare consultations and performing customized client facials.

As licensed by the state of Texas, Melissa has the knowledge to perform with the latest medical technology which allows her to create medically based treatments. She is certified in laser hair removal, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion.

Melissa's passion is to help nourish, preserve and protect the beauty of each individual's skin type. Whether she is treating specific skin tone, texture or condition, Melissa's knowledge and professional care will enhance your skin's quality.
