Earlobe Repair

Earlobes can become damaged by wearing heavy earrings or through the normal aging process. The type of damage can vary from a deep line with a excessively long hole to a complete tear of the earlobe.

Earlobe repair is done in the office under local anesthesia. Surgery typically takes about 30 minutes per side. Stitches are removed after a period of about two weeks. If desired, Dr. Schmidt will re-pierce your ears following the completion of the healing process.
